People in K-Dramaland go to restaurants for multiple reasons: to eat (obviously), to discuss things (usually someone will raise his/her voice), on a date, to meet a marriage partner (usually arranged by their parents) or to meet with the in-laws. Oftentimes people that go to dine in a restaurant will also see their crush eating with someone else. But they will stay and miserably watch the tête-à-tête unfold before their eyes.
